About the Blue Footed Boobies

The Blue-footed Booby (Sula nebouxii) is a unique bird from the Sulidae family, and its natural breeding habitat is, almost exclusively, in the Galapagos Islands. It is considered one of the most fascinating seabirds.
It has a long neck, a sharp bill and… well… obviously… bright blue feet.

The Blue-footed is a spectacular and daring hunter; while its diet consists
entirely of fish, its body has evolved to allow a very unusual fishing style: it can
plunge into the ocean, with its wings partly folded, catches “flying fish” while in the air, or can dive while in its swimming position.

Why we chose the Blue Footed Bobby?
